Meet Jessica Pambakian
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Hi! I’m Jessica
Early adulthood is filled with constant change, complex relationships, and pressure to plan for your future while still trying to understand your past. It’s a lot to deal with — and I’m here to help.
I’m passionate about working with teens, young adults, and college students who are feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure about who they are and where they’re going. From a young age, I was always naturally curious about people’s emotions, changes in tone, and the weight behind a smile. I tend to notice the small things others might miss and approach people with deep care and thoughtfulness. My goal isn’t to fix you. It’s to help you understand yourself more fully, to find language for what’s going on inside, and empower you to move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

Meeting You Where You Are
Whether you’re processing trauma, exploring your identity, wrestling with anxiety, or just trying to make sense of your emotions, I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to explore our stories without fear of judgment. I’ve been in those places myself — carrying silent burdens while feeling pressured to keep going. I know how powerful it is to have someone come alongside you with genuine care, helping you feel a little less alone in the chaos.
This is exactly what I work to provide for my clients. You deserve a space to feel safe, known, and supported — and I’d be honored to join you in this deep, meaningful work.

My Professional Journey
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who brings a warm, client-centered, and collaborative approach to therapy. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University, where I trained in university counseling and community mental health settings. Currently, I am continuing my education at Biola University as a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (PsyD)—where I’m exploring research interests in trauma, neuropsychology, cultural and diversity issues, attachment, and diagnostic assessment.
I draw from psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and humanistic frameworks, while also incorporating tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I tailor each session to meet the specific needs and strengths of my clients, whether we’re working through past wounds, managing present stressors, or planning for future growth. My clinical experience includes working with children, teens, adults, and couples, helping them to deal with anxiety, trauma, relationship dynamics, dissociation, spiritual concerns, and identity development. I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring college students, supporting individuals in crisis-pregnancy situations, and teaching college psychology courses — all of which have shaped the thoughtfulness and care I bring in my approach to therapy.
